Black Swan

Black Swan. Starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. This movie is about a dancer (Natalie Portman) who lands the lead role in "Swan Lake". Obsessed with perfection, she dances the role of the sweet and innocent "white swan" beautifully, where throughout the movie she struggles to convince her director that she can also dance as the seductive and carefree "black swan"... which leads her to slowly lose her sanity.

Rated 8.7 out of 10 on IMDb.com. This movie deserves that rating. It was beautifully dark and twisted. And if you're into those type of movies you'll be glad you saw this. It had the right amount of suspense. The right amount of "What the fucks?" and the right amount of blood and masturbation. ;) Go see this movie with your girlfriends. It's far from the last movie you probably watched together- Eat, Pray, Love. lol

My little man's fresh cut.

Gave my son a fresh hair cut today. His hair was gettin' long. He usually hates gettin' his hair cut, but this time he was really good about it. I use to bring him to the salon to get it cut, but he'd squirm around and cry at the top of his lungs the whole time that I would feel bad if I didn't tip the barber more than 10 bucks. LOL so I took it upon myself to learn how to cut his hair... and this I did. He'd still squirm around and cry the first couple of times but this time he was a real good boy about it :) And thank goodness he was behaved 'cus his hair looks like it was professionally done (and all I did to learn was YouTube it LOL!).

Puppies!

My cousin's dogs had babies about 3 weeks ago. Her dog is a Pom/Pekingese and Yorkie/Shih Ztu. So the babies are like... a 1/4 of everything lol. Funny thing is, both her dogs have white fur and most of the pups were black. There are 5 girls & 1 boy pup. We get to take one home in 4 more weeks :). We went to go visit them today...

Off subject

So I went to see this movie this past weekend. It's based on the true story of "Irish" Micky Ward's struggle with his family and his upcoming boxing career. It's really good, it's one of those movies that you'd enjoy watching with your boo. Celebrities starring in this movie include: Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams.

First Make-Up Post :)

I absolutely HATE this stuff right now. I'm trying to put a look together (make-up wise) and my falsies won't stay on on the inner corner of my eyes. And it STINKS!!!! Don't get me wrong, this adhesive is great when applied correctly, it lasts forever. But right now it's pissing me the f*** off. No patience, no patience-----

Full bangs

New look: I cut my own bangs and made them full & straight. I haven't had bangs since I was 5. Haha, thought I'd change it up a bit.

Photo dump of my son

Meet my 3 year old, Julian Tristan. He was born on Septemer 29, 2007 & he's the smartest 3 yr old kid I know. He likes to pretend he's Boots from Dora the Explorer and he's given each person in our household a role to play as well (Myself being Dora.) He also knows how to count from 1-10 in 3 different languages: English, Spanish & my family's native tongue, Tagalog. He knows his colors in English and Spanish. & he says the craziest things sometimes. I'm glad to have been so blessed with such a smart and understanding son.

Inexpensive ripped leggings, your way.

So, I was inspired to make my own ripped leggings when I found a hole in my plain black one (and when I looked around to see how much retail ripped leggings would cost [pshhhh $14-$150, no thanks!]). I buy my black leggings from Target ($6). And when this pair got snagged on something, thus creating a hole... I cut up my leggings and made my very own inexpensive pair. You can also do the same! Don't spend $$$$$$ on a pair of designer ripped leggings when you can do it yourself for cheap!

L.A. Girl "Punk" nails

Okay! So for this week I've decided to go with a solid color. I need a break from doing super tiny nail art. My patience has been growing thin with the nail art brushes that I have (I need to invest in new ones so for now I've gone with solids). Anyway, this color I picked is by L.A. Girl. It's called "PUNK" and it's a duo-chrome type of color. You can't even tell in the photos, but here it's dark metallic glittery blue but when you tilt it to the side a little it shows up as a dark purple as well. It was a pain painting my nails with this color though because it took me 3-4 coats to get it this dark. But the color is great :)

Royal Blue for Fall/Winter.

Want to stand out this season? A pair of bold blue heels will add umph to your outfit and keep those heads turning as you walk across the room. I just ordered these bad boys online. I've been having a hard time finding a pair of royal blue heels in stores. They're either sold out or they don't have my size or style that I prefer. Anyway, I'm excited to get them :) I want to pair them with a sexy little black dress and this beautiful leopard print blazer I just got. I have no idea how these will fit or how they look in person... so I'll just have to wait until I get them to do a full review! Stay tuned loves!

Being broke is no joke.

Going from having a pretty decent job & gettin paid a decent amount, to being broke and unemployed sucks soooo bad. Especially if you've got bills to pay, too. I need to get on a job hunt asap. Even if the job is temporary, I need money bad.

I'm sorry, I'll get back to relevant posting as soon as I finish cleaning my room & getting laundry done. I've been feeling a sense of worthlessness lately. lol

"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none."

- William Shakespeare

I’m pretty much outta here after I finish school. It’s time for a change. WA is too crowded with people that know someone that hangs out with someone that knows someone that knows something about you. I’m tired of this weak atmosphere where everyones drama and business is out there because the people you trust slipped up and spilled it out there for mere conversation starters. Can we not have intellectual conversations anymore? Do we really have to result in gossiping about each other or about someone we know or just about the shit we see on the Internet? What I’m really most upset about is how many people I thought were real when it came to our friendships turned out to be just like the rest of ‘em. There for a period of your life, and gone the next. That’s why I never trust anyone with secrets anymore. People still have my shit, owe me money, hold grudges and befriend people I’m not too fond of. I don’t know about y’all, but forgetting about people is my forte. If I don’t exist to you, you sure as hell don’t exist to me either. It sucks how a friendship could end like that, but that’s life. Friends come and go. The ones who stick around through whatever decision you make good or bad, rain or shine they give their opinion but still respect the decision you make, and if you’re in the wrong- then shit they let you know but they don’t judge you based on that one bad choice. That’s the person you can really call your friend. Nobody’s perfect. You, nor am I. And everyone needs to stop judging people based on that he said she said shit & remember that.

BUT! That would only happen in a perfect world. Haha! So I’m outta here and off to somewhere no one knows.

Miu Miu swallow print nails

Just did my nails. It's late, so I had to use flash. Obviously, the photo didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. (Confession: I only did my left side... har har har.) I'm tired, so the right side's gonna have to wait until tomorrow. Maybe then I'll have better photos to share :)

PS. Like doing your nails? Having a hard time finding places with thin nail art brushes or nail art rhinestones/designs for CHEAP? I found this website (click here) today, enjoy!

I love cheap finds!

Believe it or not, this bra only cost me $4.50. Well, plus tax it was probably no more than $5.00. Where might you ask? Forever 21. Yes. I myself was shocked. I didn't see what other sizes they had other than my own, but I thought I'd share what I had found. I haven't been shopping in ages due to lack of employment (lol) so I might have been out of the loop with the cheap bras at F21. Anyway, I bought this bra in red. It's a 5-way convertible bra. Other colors they had were grey, neon pink, neon yellow, light pink and red. <3

My new "soon to be" love.

Say hello to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2. I'm excited. I know I just got a regular point and shoot camera last year, but this camera, I HAVE to have. It's one of the smallest DSLR cameras out there. Not to mention that the lens are interchangeable! Official release date in the US is January 2011. This new camera is the 2nd GF model to be released by Panasonic. This model has a touch screen and is a tad bit smaller than the previous GF1. Full comparison and review on this camera can be found here. Colors that will be available are: black, silver, red, and white. I'm definitely getting the white one. ;)

Sharing my excitement, one post at a time.

Sup bitches, I'm back.

I've decided that Tumblr isn't good enough. I want one of these >=D heh. heh. heh. In fact, Tumblr is probably the reason why I'm coming back to Blogger. I've been a recent addict to Tumblr, and most of the fashion blogs on their have their own seperate blog on blogspot. So you could say I was inspired. I've been meaning to reactivate my Blogger for quite some time now. I've just been so busy with school and finals that I haven't had the time to. Anyway, I'm here and I'm back. Stay tuned =)
